Historical burnished steel glue-on tip for wooden shafts.
The distinctive ogive shape of this tip is reminiscent of the aggressive shape of tips used in battle.
Four millings are made on the ogive to make the point sharp and penetrating. The inner profile is conical, and to be attached to the shafts, they simply need to be glued on with a special adhesive.
The tips are made of steel and then surface-treated with a burnishing process to give the typical burnished color and protect them from possible oxidation.
